Despite being a stay about the post-apocalyptic zombie uprising, Fear the Walking Dead has expanded its cast over the last three seasons. Now, the AMC spinoff of The Walking Dead is adding Jenna Elfman as a series regular for the upcoming fourth season.Elfman herself tweeted the news via Instagram, saying that she was "so honored" to be a part of the universe.

Elfman, best known as Dharma on Dharma and Greg and seen more recently on ABC's Imaginary Mary, joined Fear the Walking Dead's cast just after the announcement that Garrett Dillahunt, currently seen on Fox's The Gifted, would also be a Season 4 regular. No details on Elfman's role for Fear the Walking Dead were provided, but since she's mainly known for her comedic roles, we're hoping she'll add some much needed laughs to the traditionally dire drama. The fourth season of Fear the Walking Dead will also feature something of a crossover with its predecessor series, though whether Elfman or Dillahunt's character will be part of that remains unknown at this time.

Premiering Sunday nights on AMC, Fear the Walking Dead stars Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Mercedes Mason, and Daniel Sharman.
