Sweet Tooth and Black Hammer creator Jeff Lemire is taking on family grief in a new Dark Horse Comics series titled Mazebook, and a preview of the first issue examines how quickly memories can fade away.

CBR has the exclusive preview of Mazebook #1 by Jeff Lemire, who handles the writing and art duties on the miniseries. It follows a lonely building inspector who has lost his puzzle-loving daughter, and how he can still count every thread of her favorite sweater, but can no longer remember his daughter's face. The father has these thoughts as he attempts to go through his normal workday.
