Although he did appear briefly in the credits for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2., Taika Waititi's upcoming Thor: Ragnarok will mark the first official appearance of Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the next installment in the Thor franchise hasn't hit U.S. theaters yet, Goldblum recently revealed in an interview with Radio Times that he's already filmed a second appearance as the character.

"I shot a thing with Taika [Waititi], where there's a roommate in Australia," Goldblum said. "I show up at his [apartment], and I do knock on his door. And I take up residence in the little flat, as they say here. That's what I do. And order things from the takeaway restaurant. Buy all the local foods."

The premise sounds similar to the Team Thor short from last year. That video featured Thor hanging out with his Australian roommate, Darryl Jacobson. It's unclear whether or not Jacobson will appear again, though the character is not slated to appear in Thor: Ragnarok.
