David Levinson is ready to save the planet again in a new photo from the set of director Roland Emmerich's "Independence Day 2."

Dean Devlin, who produced and co-wrote both the 1996 blockbuster and the upcoming sequel, posted a photo on Instragram of himself with Jeff Goldblum, who reprises his role as the alien invader-destroying satellite technician.

"Hanging with David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum) 20 years later is a dream come true!" Devlin wrote in the caption.

Goldblum is joined in the Fox sequel by fellow returning actors Vivica A. Fox, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch and Brent Spiner, as well as franchise newcomers essie Usher, Liam Hemsworth, Sela Ward, Maika Monroe, Joey King, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Travis Tope, DeObia Oparei and Garrett Wareing.

"Independence Day 2" opens June 24, 2016.
