Those fans still performing Marvel Cinematic Universe safety checks following the shocking events of Avengers: Infinity War can rest easy, because Grandmaster survived. Or so says Jeff Golblum, who would probably know.

Deposed as ruler of Sakaar at the end of Thor: Ragnarok, and relocated to Earth, where he moved in with Thor's ex-roommate Darryl, he might be down on his luck, but it takes more than a snap of Thanos' fingers to do away with Grandmaster.

"Grandmaster is more superheroed than all of them put together," Goldblum told Digital Spy while promoting Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. "You can't kill me, I'm like a vampire. I'm deathless, and I can kill people by looking at them. Or I can resurrect them just by looking at them and thinking of them. I can do everything. Being able to do all of that, all I want to do is play games, that's all I want to do. So really, I'm everywhere and nowhere. I'm like Keyser Söze."

Pressed as to whether he actually knows Grandmaster replied, emphatically, "Yes, yes, yes!" But then he added that we'd have to ask Marvel Studios executives. "I don't know that anybody's actually figured it out yet, but I could be, potentially, very much around." That is to say, Goldblum is very much game to reprise the role for "anything they want me to do."
