There’s already one direct tie to the comics in the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game, and it’s a recent addition.

Announced at the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order panel at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, Second Sister, an Inquisitor serving Darth Vader, first debuted in last year’s Darth Vader #18 by Charles Soule and Giuseppe Camuncoli. The issue was the beginning of the "Fortress Vader" arc, a story set prior to Star Wars: A New Hope which saw Vader coping with life after the execution of the hiding Jedi Knights, and establishing his fortress on Mustafar.

The Inquisitor is explicitly featured in the trailer and appears to be doggedly pursuing the main character Cal Kestis throughout the galaxy after he is outed as a Jedi. We see Cal spotted by Second Sister and running from her, and at trailer’s end, she is seen jumping onto Cal’s ship and destroying a window while it is taking off.

Second Sister is only seen in a single panel of Darth Vader #18, silently standing at a table beside Vader’s other Inquisitor’s toasting the end of the Jedi Order. In the next issue, those same recruits are attacked by Vader, as he senses their camaraderie has made them weak. Though seen at the beginning of the fight, Second Sister is not seen in the remainder of the story and has not appeared since. Whether or not Second Sister continued to serve as an Inquisitor following the death of the last known Jedi is not known, as it’s not clear if this issue takes place prior to the events of Jedi: Fallen Order.
