Director Kevin Smith promised that Jay & Silent Bob Reboot would feature lots of cameos, and it looks like he's living up to his word. After already revealing several guest actors over the past month, he has just revealed another two iconic '90s actors and View Askewniverse veterans who would be joining the film.
Both James Van Der Beek and Jason Biggs will return for the upcoming film These two actors portrayed themselves and played the drug-themed superheroes Bluntman and Chronic in the movie-within-the-movie from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

In the Instagram post, Kevin Smith revealed that both actors would be returning to reprise their roles as heightened versions of themselves in the View Askewniverse. The fictionalized actors will appear at Chronic Con, a convention dedicated to the Bluntman & Chronic movie that was featured in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and will being rebooted in this movie.
Smith also said that the two had not worked together since Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back 18 years ago but was "spitting comedic fire like they'd been working together for the last two decades."

Written and directed by Kevin Smith, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot stars Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Shannon Elizabeth, Jason Lee, Donnell Rawlings and more. The film is expected to hit theaters later this year.
