Kevin Smith wrote that Chris Jericho joined the cast of Jay and Silent Bob Reboot last week and was part of a scene that Smith stole from some of the road trip movies he watched in the '80s. Smith also pointed out that this was the first time that Jericho and Mewes shared the screen together in a movie.

Smith worked with Jericho previously in the horror anthology movie Killroy Was Here. Smith previously described that movie as ”Golem, the Boogeyman and the Grim Reaper combined.”

Smith said that in both Killroy Was Here and Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Jericho plays "waaaaay against type" and that if they ever work together again, Jericho will be a good guy. That makes it sound like he might not be be one of the obstacles standing in the way of Jay and Silent Bob obtaining their goals.
