Smith wears the same Silent Bob costume from Mallrats, while Mewes' wardrobe has been upgraded. Smith explained that Jay is wearing a Ranger Danger t-shirt that was designed by Captain RibMan, the same artist who designed the Fat Man logo. Ranger Danger is a superhero character designed by Smith. In the film's fiction, the character has undergone a gritty reboot.

This photo also comes a few days after Smith released his first vlog about the making of the movie on his YouTube channel.
