One of the biggest teases in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" of the larger history behind the cinematic branch of the DC Extended Universe could be glimpsed in Bruce Wayne's Batcave. When Wayne (Ben Affleck) walks through the cave's gleaming corridors, he glances up at the suit of his apparently dead sidekick, Robin.

Of course, fans of the comic books instantly began speculating as to the identity of Batman's fallen friend. Those in the know largely assumed that it was Jason Todd, the first iteration of the character to die on paper. Now, it looks like Warner Bros. has confirmed that this is in fact the case.

In a video previewing Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood's new DC Comics: The Exhibit, a tour guide named John walks us through the first part of the showcase. When he reaches the "Batman v Superman" section, he points to the Robin suit, saying, "This was one of the big things from 'Batman v Superman,' right across this way: the Jason Todd Robin suit. Spray painted on the front 'Ha ha. The joke's on you Batman.' Those of you that know the storyline, know what happened to this Robin."

While not a direct confirmation from a high-up "source" at the studio, it would make sense that someone tasked with showing off the exhibit would be provided with accurate information. Does this mean we may one day see Todd's Red Hood costume on the big screen? Or perhaps his actual death in a flashback sequence or prequel? We'll have to wait and see.
