Jason Momoa Gets Intense in 'Game of Thrones' Audition Tape

Despite being on YouTube since April 2012, Jason Momoa's Game of Thrones audition tape has only recently captured the Internet's attention in a big way. Time is just one of the many outlets that shared the 30-second clip over the weekend, thus giving those not initiated into the GoT world a taste of just what the future Aquaman can do.

Time points out that Momoa is performing the haka, a traditional dance associated with New Zealand’s Maori people, during this audition, led him to land the role of Dothraki warlord Khal Drogo.

Rumors of Momoa's involvement in DC's expanding movie-verse have persisted since late last year. The actor's months of remaining mum finally came to a close last week when it was finally revealed the actor will play Aquaman.
