Aquaman leading man Jason Momoa will be voicing the Christmastime icon Frosty in a new Frosty the Snowman live-action/CGI hybrid movie.

According to Deadline, the production is set up at Warner Bros. and Stampede. Momoa will also produce the project alongside Jon Berg, Greg Silverman and Geoff Johns. Momoa previously worked with Berg and Silverman on Aquaman. David Berenbaum, who wrote the screenplay for Elf, will be penning the script for Momoa's Frosty the Snowman.

"From his role as a fearsome count in a land of ice and fire to the oceanic success we all had with Aquaman, it felt only right to realize Jason this time out of snow," producer Jon Berg in a statement.

"We know Jason’s as a true human being filled with love, compassion and a deep connection to ohana -- all of which is the living spirit of Xmas and Frosty," producer Greg Silverman added.

Jason Momoa got his start in shows such as Baywatch: Hawaii and Stargate: Atlantis before moving on to Game of Thrones. Momoa moved into headlining features film with the 2011 movie Conan the Barbarian, though his biggest role came as Arthur Curry/Aquaman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. In addition to Frosty, Momoa's other upcoming acting commitments include a supporting role in Dune and the lead role in the Netflix action/thriller Sweet Girl.

No release date or director has been announced for Jason Momoa's Frosty the Snowman.
