Aquaman star Jason Momoa called out Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt after Pratt posted a picture to Instagram in which he held a plastic water bottle. Pratt didn't take it lying down and replied with his specific brand of sarcasm, prompting a polite Internet feud.

It all started with an Instagram photo of Pratt in the gym, where he leans on the treadmill and holds a disposable water bottle. "You’re probably wondering why I’m standing here, low key flexing, gazing into the distance," he wrote. He went on to introduce his partnership with Amazon, declaring, "Well, turns out I'm teaming up with Amazon to show you guys everything I use for my workouts, keeping active, and all that fun stuff to get you prepped for 2020."

Momoa took this opportunity to gently scold the Jurassic World star for promoting single-use plastics, such as the water bottle he is holding. Pratt, not to be outdone, responded with the same amount of soft teasing and joked about not knowing "what to do with my hands."

The gentle feud quickly went viral and got a lot of attention from both fandoms. Momoa, in response to all the backlash, went back to Instagram to apologize for inciting the dust-up. "I’m sorry this was received so badly today I didn’t mean for that to happen," he wrote, after proclaiming the love he and his children have for the star.
