The CW has released the logo for Jared Padalecki's Walker, Texas Ranger reboot. The photo released of the logo shortens the name of the former '90s television series to just Walker.

Little information has been released about the new series, but fans can expect a similar synopsis to the original series, created by Albert S. Ruddy, Paul Haggis, Christopher Canaan and Leslie Greif.

Taking place in Austin, Texas, the series centers on Padalecki's Cordell Walker (formerly played by Chuck Norris) as he finds his way back to his family after spending two years undercover in a high-profile case. A widower and father of two children, Walker discovers there's even more work to be done at home.

The original series ran from 1993 to 2001, with a 2005 television film titled Trial by Fire following after. Walker is intended to be a straight reboot of the series, with Padalecki also set to work as an executive producer.

So far, the series is set to star Lindsey Morgan (The 100) as Micki, Walker's new partner, Jeff Pierre (Once Upon a Time) as Micki's boyfriend Trey Barnett, Violet Brinson (Sharp Objects) as Walker's sixteen-year-old daughter Stella and Kale Culley (Me, Myself and I) as Walker's fourteen-year-old son Arlo. There is no set release date for the series.
