Jared Leto started training for Tron 3, but he already looks jacked and ready to film.
Leto shared a photo from his workout routine on Instagram, captioning it, "Starting the Tron workout 🏋🏻...join me?"
After years of rumors, Tron 3 was announced this past August, with Garth Davis attached to direct. While the full title of the film has yet to be revealed, a previous Instagram post from Leto implied that it would be titled Tron: Ares. Leto quickly deleted that text from his post moments after sharing it.
Tron 3 will be the third major installment in the Tron franchise. The first film premiered in 1982 and stars Jeff Bridges as computer programmer Kevin Flynn who gets trapped in a virtual world known as the Grid. Once there, he must figure out how to escape while fighting to free the local programs from the dictatorship of the Master Control Program (MCP).
A sequel, Tron: Legacy, debuted in 2010. The film follows Flynn's adult son Sam (Garrett Hedlund), as he enters the Grid to find his long-lost father.
Directed by Garth Davis, Tron 3 stars Jared Leto. The film does not have a release date.
