Jared Leto's performance at the Clown Prince of Crime in "Suicide Squad" may not have pleased all fans of The Joker, but it was enough to earned the Oscar winner an MTV Movie Award nomination this week for Best Villain. The actor responded in kind, with a tweet that delivers a new take on one of his lines from the Warner Bros. film.

In case you're wondering, the original line is, "Oh, that she is. The fire in my loins. The itch in my crotch. The one, the only, the infamous Harley Quinn!" But, hey, whatever works for the occasion.

Leto faces stiff competition in the Best Villain category from Allison Williams ("Get Out"), Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("The Walking Dead"), Wes Bentley ("American Horror Story: Roanoke") and, perhaps worst of all, the Demogorgon ("Stranger Things").

Other notable, comics-related nominees for the 2017 MTV Movie Awards include "Logan" for Movie of the Year, Hugh Jackman ("Logan") for Best Actor in a Movie, Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("The Walking Dead") for Best Actor in a Show, Will Arnett ("The LEGO Batman Movie") Best Comedic Performance, Mike Colter ("Luke Cage"), Grant Gustin ("The Flash") and Stephen Amell ("Arrow") for Best Hero, Hugh Jackman and Dafne Keen ("Logan") for Best Duo, and "Luke Cage" for Best Fight Against the System.
