Remember last year when the first trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation hit and everyone got really excited? Then Paramount pulled the film, supposedly just to convert it to 3D, and the movie kind of faded back into the ether.
The studio is trying to reignite that excitement by releasing a new trailer that featured a lot of footage from the first one. Some of this stuff just isn't as thrilling the second time around. But now there's the Japanese trailer which, boasts some of the same footage, but also new scenes and extensions or continuations of parts already seen.
Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki and Lee Byung-hun all feature prominently in this new trailer.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation also stars Channing Tatum, RZA, Walton Goggins, Elodie Yung and Ray Stevenson. The film was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick for Jon M. Chu to direct. It's now set to open March 29.
