There's Someone Inside Your House is being produced by powerhouse producers Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) and Dan Cohen of 21 Laps, with production by Atomic Monster's James Wan and Michael Clear. The film is an adaption of the bestselling young-adult novel of the same name by Stephanie Perkins. The novel tells the story of Makani Young, a young girl who is forced to leave behind her life in Hawaii to go live with her grandmother in Nebraska. As she goes on to try and build a new life, Makani's fellow students at her new high school begin to die one-by-one in a series of gruesome murders.

News that Netflix would be adapting the title first surfaced in March 2018. However, this marks the first bit of official news on the project since then.
