Three months ahead of its release and the second trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's Glass is poised to debut this week.

The film's official Twitter account released a brief teaser focused on James McAvoy's The Beast, the villain of 2016's Split.

While McAvoy's character in the previous film was initially dubbed The Horde for the 24 personalities existing within him, the most feared and destructive of these personalities was an unstoppable killer known as The Beast.

The teaser's release matches the upcoming sequel's marketing strategy for its first trailer, releasing promos focused on each of its three leads in the days leading up to the trailer's debut.

With the second trailer scheduled to be released this Thursday, that suggests Samuel L. Jackson's Mr. Glass and Bruce Willis' David Dunn will be the subject of their own trailer teasers tomorrow and Wednesday, setting up the crossover between Split and 2000's post-modern superhero film Unbreakable.

Directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan, Glass is slated for release on January 18, 2019. The film stars James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb/The Beast, Bruce Willis as David Dunn, Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price/Mr. Glass, and Sarah Paulson as Ellie Staple.
