Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has shared an iconic photo of some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most prominent directors at a discussion roundtable.

In the wake of all of the exciting news surrounding the MCU, Gunn shared the image to his Instagram. The photo features Gunn himself -- who helmed both Guardians films -- alongside Peyton Reed (Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp), Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame), Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Iron Man 2), Ryan Coogler (Black Panther) and Joss Whedon (Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron).

"Just came across this photo from the Marvel Directors’ roundtable we recorded around Infinity War time," Gunn writes. The roundtable discussion was featured as a part of the special features on Infinity War's home video release.

Gunn is working towards the development of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. During Comic-Con International in San Diego, he confirmed it takes place before the events of Thor: Love and Thunder. However, according to his brother Sean Gunn, the film's script has not yet been finalized. Guardians 3 also does not yet have an official release date.
