MGM Studios' next James Bond film, No Time to Die, is expected to shift release dates once more due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

According to Deadline, the film's promotional partners are gearing up for a shift to a fall release. This follows Dutch exhibitor Carlo Lambregts claiming No Time to Die would be moved from its April release date to November, though MGM has yet to officially announce anything.

No Time to Die was originally slated to hit theaters on April 10, 2020. However, due to the pandemic, the film was pushed to Nov. 20 and then April 2, 2021. This was merely the latest in a long string of woes for the film, though. In August 2018, director Danny Boyle exited the project and was soon replaced by Fukunaga. Then, in May 2019, production was suspended when Craig suffered a severe ankle injury that required surgery while filming an action scene. Less than a month later, a controlled explosion caused damage to the 007 set and left a crew member seriously injured. Shortly thereafter, a man was arrested at Pinewood Studios after a hidden camera was found in one of the on-set toilets.

Directed and co-written by Cary Fukunaga, No Time to Die stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen and Rami Malek. The film arrives in theaters April 2.
