Jackman Says Tom Hardy Would Be a Great Wolverine

"I haven't really given it a lot of thought," Hugh Jackman answered when posed with the question of who he'd cast as Wolverine if presented the chance. After some discussion, however, he did settle on Tom Hardy, a man who's no stranger to superhero movies himself having played Batman villain Bane" in "The Dark Knight Rises."

During an interview for the soon to be released "Pan," Jackman was pressed by MTV for who he'd pick to take up the X-mantle. After some good-natured joking about not wanting to make it to easy for 20th Century Fox to replace him in the role ("I've still got one more to do!"), Jackman named Hardy, saying he'd be "great" in the role.
