The latest film from the notorious MTV stunt group, Jackass Forever, is almost here twenty years after their theatrical debut. Even though new blood will join the crew alongside many celebrity cameos, it is impressive to see a lot of the old cast still walking around after all they have endured over the past two decades.

Now's a good time as any to take a look at some of the returning alumni and see what they've been up to in recent years. Below are the biggest cast members that will be returning for another high-octane collection of antics and laughter.

Johnny Knoxville Returns as Jackass Forever's Leader

It just isn't Jackass without the face and leader of the group, Johnny Knoxville, even though he claims this will be his last outing in the franchise. After failing to make it big in Hollywood as an actor, he wrote his own ideas with future Jackass director Jeff Tremaine for Big Brother magazine, which eventually birthed the original prank and stunt show for MTV.

Once he was done with Jackass 3D, Knoxville starred as his recurring character Irving in the spin-off movie Bad Grandpa. He also got to write, produce and star in his passion project Action Point, a movie loosely based on the infamous Action Park theme park in New Jersey. Besides acting in stunt-heavy and comedic roles, he's tried his hand at more serious movies, including Elvis & NixonWe Summon the Darkness and Above Suspicion.

Steve-O Is Back and Better Than Ever in Jackass Forever

Arguably the busiest member today, Steve-O is perhaps best known for having turned his life around from his self-destructive tendencies and addictions. He got his start as a circus clown and filmed his own stunts before joining the Jackass crew. Now 14 years sober, he spreads positivity as a social media influencer and YouTuber (having famously live-streamed himself climbing up a crane in protest of SeaWorld in 2015). He's also taken a stab at stand-up comedy and regularly tours the U.S. One such tour had him bring back the Jackass guys for some live stunts, entitled Gnarly. He can be heard hosting his popular podcast Steve-O's Wild Ride, chatting with all kinds of celebrities in his Nissan NV200 Van Camper.

Chris Pontius Will Likely Bare It All in Jackass Forever

action point chris pontius

Chris Pontius may be the guy who usually gets naked in most skits, but he is also famous for starring in Wildboyz alongside Steve-O. It had a similar premise to Jackass but focused more on traveling the world and performing stunts involving nature and animals. Over the years, Pontius has taken up a few minor roles in films, such as in Game Over, Man! and the aforementioned Action Point, which brought him back together with fellow Jackass co-star Johnny Knoxville. He also had a cameo in the FOX sitcom Raising Hope. Nowadays, he's been mostly keeping himself busy as a father after welcoming his first child in 2019.

Jason "Wee Man" Acuña Picks Up the Skateboard Again In Jackass Forever

Wee Man made it into the crew mainly thanks to his skateboarding skills, as well as his professional connections to Big Brother magazine. His stunts usually involve a joke or a gag in reference to his size, such as skateboarding as an Oompa-Loompa, walking around inside a street cone and getting chased by the crew. Besides Jackass, he starred in the 2012 family comedy Elf-Man in the leading role.

Like many of his peers, Wee-Man has taken a step back from the spotlight. He is a franchisee of the Californian fast-food chain Chronic Tacos and, for a while, he went on a spiritual journey by living the van life inside a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

Dave England, "Danger" Ehren McGhehey and Preston Lacy Also Make Comebacks

Preston Lacy, Dave England, Danger Ehren

Dave England is the one typically involved in all of the scat and vomit skits. Despite his name and being picked on the most, Danger Ehren always placed safety first above all else. Preston Lacy is, of course, known for being the biggest guy in the group, so most of his stunts and gags are in reference to his weight. They have all kept a low profile over the years, although Lacy has found stable work as a stand-up comedian. Despite that, it's a safe bet that audiences will see those trends with these guys once again in Jackass Forever.
