The fourth and final season of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is officially slated to hit Prime Video late next month.
Per TVLine, Amazon has announced that Jack Ryan Season 4 will premiere on Prime Video on Friday, June 30 -- a mere six months after Season 3's debut late last year. Two episodes of Season 4 will hit the platform every week through Friday, July 14. This marks a departure from the previous three seasons of the John Krasinski-led spy thriller, all of which had full-season drops instead of weekly rollouts.
Jack Ryan Season 4 follows the eponymous spy, played by Krasinski, on his most dangerous mission yet. As the new CIA Acting Deputy Director, Jack is tasked with investigating internal corruption -- which runs deeper than he ever could have expected. His faith in the system is greatly tested when he discovers the convergence of a drug cartel with a terrorist organization, revealing a conspiracy that lies very close to home.
In addition to Krasinski, Jack Ryan Season 4 stars Wendell Pierce as James Greer, Michael Kelly as Mike November, Betty Gabriel as CIA Acting Director Elizabeth Wright and Abbie Cornish as Cathy Mueller. Newcomers joining the fray for the show's final chapter include Michael Peña as Domingo Chavez and Louis Ozawa as Chao Fah.
Jack Ryan Reaches the End of the Road
Based on the novels and characters created by Tom Clancy, Jack Ryan debuted its first season on Prime Video in August 2018. The show returned for Season 2 in October 2019, followed by Season 3 in December 2022. Series lead Krasinski is the fifth person to play the character of Jack Ryan in live-action, following Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck and Chris Pine.
Prime Video had renewed Jack Ryan for Season 3 several months before Season 2 premiered, with the show getting a Season 4 renewal over a year before Season 3's debut. In May 2022, it came to light that Jack Ryan's fourth season would also be its last. At the same time, it was revealed that a potential spinoff series focusing on Peña's Domingo Chavez was in the works. However, the project's current status is unknown.
