It was previously reported that Star Trek leading man Chris Pine would follow in the footsteps of Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck by becoming the fourth actor to play Jack Ryan on the big screen, but beyond that casting, little else has been revealed about the untitled thriller. Now, it appears that the intelligence analyst has a destination in mind — Moscow.

Pajiba reports that the upcoming Jack Ryan adventure — currently titled Moscow — sees Ryan living as a financial adviser in Moscow. Ryan is employed by a devious billionaire "who eventually sets Jack Ryan up to take the fall for terrorist plot designed to collapse the U.S. economy." Following the set up, Ryan is tasked with clearing his own name, revealing the terrorist plot and saving his freshly abducted wife from the clutches of the evil billionaire.

The article also notes some striking similarities between Moscow and a previous project titled Dubai, an Adam Cozen script sold to Moscow producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura back in 2007.
