While major film and television studios have temporarily suspended production in the face of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, indie studios are still putting out content, including 4DigitalMedia's upcoming horror movie The Jack in the Box.

The film has released its first trailer, in which a man discovers a mysterious box in the field before deciding to donate it to a local museum. However, when the seemingly harmless box is opened, a killer clown is unleashed to claim lives in gruesomely bloody ways.

As people working at the museum begin to die of mysterious causes, a young man named Casey realizes he is directly in line to become Jack's next victim.

In addition to the trailer, 4Digital Media released a poster for the film:

Blending the puzzlebox horror of Hellraiser with a truly creepy clown, The Jack in the Box brings grindhouse scares and kills as its eponymous monster stalks the prey foolish enough to open the box in which it's kept.
