When "iZombie" returns next month, Liv and Blaine won't be the only zombies in town. In fact, according the first promo for Season 3, there are a whole contagion of zombies living in Seattle now.

In the Season 2 finale, Vaughn Du Clark's zombie experiment finally turned against him when several members of the R&D department drank Max Rager spiked with tainted Utopium. Just like the other attendees at Liv's fatal boat party, these scientists quickly turned into violent berserker zombies and attacked any living thing near them. What's worse, they were locked in a parking garage with all of Max Rager's other employees for a prison-themed work party, and so the event ended in a massacre.

But that doesn't mean Seattle became overrun with beserker zombies. Before the zombies could attack Liv, Major and Clive and escape, military contractor Vivian Stoll put the zombies down. In doing so, she revealed that she herself was a zombie -- and so was everyone working for her at her company Filmore Graves. In fact, in the aftermath of the attack, one of her bodyguards ate singer Rob Thomas' brain and performed a little tune as Liv and her friends learned the shocking truth.

Moving into Season 3, then, Liv will have to contend with more zombies than those in her little circle. However, Vivian doesn't seem interested in revealing her truth to the world just yet. "What happens when humans learn there's contagion zombies?" she asks. Even so, her goals are unclear for now, but we're sure to learn more about them when the show returns next month.
