"Thor" veteran Tom Hiddleston is set to face off against Dr. House himself, Hugh Laurie, in the upcoming crime-centric limited-series, "The Night Manager." The first trailer has dropped for the AMC series, which executive producer Stephen Garrett previously described as a "thriller equivalent of a bromance."

Adapted in partnership with BBC One, "The Night Manager" is based on the 1993 John le Carre novel of the same name and follows Hiddleston's Jonathan Pine, who secretly infiltrates an alliance between the intelligence community and the secret arms trade -- headed by High Laurie's Richard Onslow Roper -- under the advisement of an operative played by Olivia Colman of "Broadchurch."

"The Night Manager" airs in April on AMC and BBC One.
