It's the Bard Vs. Witches in The CW's 'Shakespeare's Sisters'

What would happen if a young William Shakespeare, who featured witches prominently in Macbeth, found himself in the presence of the real thing? According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pilot for Shakespeare's Sisters will explore exactly that.

Like the Mary Queen of Scots drama Reign and the recently announced Charles Darwin series Unnatural Selection, Shakespeare's Sisters will continue the trend of dramatizing the young lives of historical figures, thanks in part to actor-cum-producer Mark Harmon.

Scott Sullivan (NCIS: Los Angeles) is writing the pilot script for Brad Silberling (Reign) to direct.
