With IT: Chapter Two weeks away from opening in theaters everywhere, the upcoming horror film has released a special trailer promoting its release in IMAX.
The new trailer shows the Losers Club reminiscing over their shared childhood hometown of Derry, Maine, before returning as adults to confront the monstrous Pennywise one last time. Included in the new footage is additional sequences of the Losers hanging out together in the 1980s as well as more footage of Jessica Chastain's adult Beverly returning to Derry for a blood confrontation.
Based on the bestselling Stephen King novel, IT: Chapter Two has the misfit group of friends learn that Pennywise has resurfaced decades after its apparent defeat in the 1980s to launch a new string of child killings. Banding together, the Losers return to their hometown to destroy the evil festering within it once and for all.
It: Chapter 2 stars Bill Skarsgård, James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Jay Ryan, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone, Andy Bean, Teach Grant, Jess Weixler, Will Beinbrink, Xavier Dolan, Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff and Nicholas Hamilton. The film is scheduled to be released on Sept. 6.
