Writer Stephen King just teased what could be the pending arrival of the first trailer for It: Chapter Two.The author drew attention to the upcoming film on Twitter, saying “IT CHAPTER 2 is coming.” This, of course, could indicate that the first trailer is on its way. So far, fans have only had a poster to tide them over, but a trailer being released before Christmas would make perfect sense.

The first part of the adaptation of Stephen King’s novel, It, was released in 2017 and proved to be a massive commercial success. The film centered around a group of children dubbed “The Losers Club,” who are forced to contend with a terrifying, shapeshifting, supernatural monster. The sequel, which takes place 27 years later, will see the group reunite to confront the creature once more.

It: Chapter 2 stars Bill Skarsgård, James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Jay Ryan, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone, Andy Bean, Teach Grant, Jess Weixler, Will Beinbrink, Xavier Dolan, Jaden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff,and Nicholas Hamilton. The film is slated to release Sept. 6, 2019.
