Isaiah Mustafa and Matthew Daddario have signed on to ABC Family's "Shadowhunters," Variety reports.

Based on Cassandra Clare’s bestselling “Mortal Instruments” novels, "Shadowhunters" centers on Clary Fray (Katherine McNamara), who discovers on her 18th birthday that she descends from a long line of Shadowhunters, human-angel hybrids who hunt demons. When her mother is kidnapped, Clary is drawn into the world of demon hunting with the mysterious Jace (Dominic Sherwood), his fellow Shadowhunters Isabelle (Emeraude Toubia) and Alec (Daddario), and her best friend Simon (Alberto Rosende). Mustafa will play Luke Garroway, a former Shadowhunter-turned-werewolf who uses his monster fighting skills for the NYPD.

Mustafa is best known as "The Old Spice Guy" from Old Spice's TV recent commercials but has also appeared in "Nikita" and "Horrible Bosses." Daddario's past credits include "Delivery Man."

Production is set to begin this month in Toronto.
