A new teaser for an "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."-themed train for San Diego's Comic-Con International fired-up some fans into thinking that Ghost Rider could be making his way to the Marvel Comics-based series -- though that's likely far from the truth.

Marvel dropped the following image hyping the train, which includes a flaming chain prominently in its design. While this is iconic to many readers as being Ghost Rider's chain, it's also the weapon of a lesser-known Inhuman character, Hellfire, who made his debut last season on the series.

Apart from the chain, Hellfire does indeed have a connection to Ghost Rider -- he's the grandson of the first Marvel Comics character to bear the name Ghost Rider, Carter Slade. However, that connection has yet to be explored on the series.

Here's an example of Hellfire using the flaming chain in Season 3 of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.":

The hyping of Hellfire's chain is curious, considering the character's secondary role in the third season. Perhaps the prominence of his weapon for Marvel's SDCC marketing means the character will have a bigger role in Season 4? And, since both of Daisy's love interests on the series are now dead -- and she and Hellfire dated in Jonathan Hickman's run on "Secret Warriors" run from the last decade -- it seems possible the two could spark a romance in the near future...
