Marvel Will Upgrade Ironheart's Armor in Champions

Writer Jim Zub and artist Kevin Libranda are set to upgrade Riri Williams' Ironheart armor in an upcoming issue of Champions.

R.B. Silva's cover for Champions #23, which you can see below, shows Ironheart wearing new armor. Although there are a lot of minor differences, the biggest change is to the color scheme, which now incorporates pink and black. The solicit itself doesn't mention any change to Riri's armor, but it does note that she and Amadeus Cho will "take major steps forward in their super hero journeys," so the change will likely be related to that. The solicit also teases Sam Alexander, also known as Nova, doubting his future with the band of young superheroes.
