Riri Williams has been around in the Marvel Universe for several years now as Ironheart. In that time, she’s trained under an artificial intelligence version of Tony Stark, and much like Iron Man needs to, she's invented multiple armors to keep up with the Marvel Universe. With both the experience and the technology, it’s not shocking she has a bunch of impressive wins to her name.

Despite having just over 100 appearances in Marvel, she’s gone up against some powerful threats. Ironheart’s done everything from briefly become a ruler of Latveria to save the planet from super-powered criminal organization the Ten Rings.

10 Ironheart Hacked Into Tony Stark's AI Armors

One of Riri's earliest challenges was from the Tony Stark AI. With her newly built Model 1 armor, Tony asked her to fight a number of old Iron Man armors at the same time.

Each armor was piloted by AI, so she had to figure out how to deal with some of Tony Stark's best tech from the past with little experience in piloting herself. Fortunately, Riri was able to figure out how to send out a virus to shut all of them down at once, leading to her succeeding in her first mission.

9 Ironheart Knocked Out The Rhino In One Punch

One of Spider-Man's oldest and most dangerous foes is the Rhino. What makes the Rhino such a threat though, is how strong he is relative to Spider-Man. Even then Rhino is a B-List villain at best. Compared to someone like Iron Man or Ironheart, Rhino is considerably less dangerous.

So after developing the latest version of the Ironheart armor, Riri put the suit through its paces by stopping a number of threats. The easiest threat for Riri was the Rhino, who she was able to knock out with a single punch on her way to fighting a giant monster.

8 Ironheart Hacked the Techno-Golem

The Techno Golem Exploding While Riri And Pepper Look Away

The Techno-Golem was a problem Tony Stark had to deal with just before Civil War II happened. An Inhuman with the ability to steal armor from others and control it as her own, she was one of the most dangerous villains Stark could've dealt with. She didn't exactly become less dangerous in her run-in against Riri Williams either.

Riri Telling Off Sharon Carter

Riri's first encounter with S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't have the best of terms. She met S.H.I.E.L.D. and former director Sharon Carter's first response was offering her a job. While job offers for millennials and Gen Z kids are normally appreciated, Riri wasn't exactly excited to join S.H.I.E.L.D.

And Sharon didn't make it seem like a choice. Riri wasn't afraid to tell Sharon exactly how she felt about the idea of being viewed as a threat because she didn't want to join S.H.I.E.L.D., though.

6 Riri Williams Declared Herself Queen Of Latveria

Riri declaring herself Queen of Latveria

Not many superheroes can say they've successfully taken over an entire country. Early in her career though, Riri rushed into Latveria while the country was under the control of villain Lucia von Bardas. Though Lucia had some impressive abilities, Riri was able to crack the code and hack into her systems, shutting her down.

After defeating Lucia, Riri declared herself the new ruler of Latveria... jokingly. Though she didn't intend to, she became its ruler for a day, and set out to fix as many of the country's problems as she could before leaving.

A superhero can only keep their job for so long before they start fighting supernatural beings. In Riri's case, she battled against a magician who was capable of turning anyone she came into contact with into zombies. Initially, Riri had only the help of Nadia van Dyne and her best friend Xavier.

But when it came time to fight the Ten Rings member with this power, it all came down to her. Fortunately, Riri noticed the only place on the mage's body that could be hit and attacked, causing the Ten Rings mage to call off her attack and leave, which turned the people she'd affected back to normal.

4 Ironheart Defeated An Entire Super-Crime Organization

Ironheart Beating Up On The Ten Rings Organization

The Ten Rings was meant to be a powerful criminal organization with its hands involved in everything. One of their members, Midnight Fire, was able to get the best of Riri multiple times throughout her solo ongoing. Once Riri realized the Wellspring of Power was meant to grant them reality-warping level powers though, she was left with no choice but to partner with other heroes.

In Wakanda, she teamed up with Shuri and Silhouette to help fight against the Ten Rings. In the end, she experienced part of the Wellspring's power and defeated them all.

3 Ironheart Convinced Iron Man To Let Her Keep Mandarin's Rings

Ironheart Talking To Tony Stark About The Mandarin Rings

In a recent arc of Iron Man, Riri posed as the villainous Cobalt Man to acquire the Mandarin's rings. Pretending to be the Cobalt Man required her to literally fight against her mentor Tony Stark, and his best friend James Rhodes. Still, by the end she was able to reveal who she really was to them both.

She explained that she wanted to use the Mandarin's rings to find a way to use them to help people. Though Tony and Riri didn't agree at first, eventually Tony decided to trust her enough to let her have the rings.

2 Ironheart Helped The Champions Restore Their Memories

Viv Vision and Ironheart fusing to save the Champions

After the Champions were sent through the Siege Parallel to Weirdworld, the only person to retain their memory was Ironheart. While the rest of them believed they were actually part of this new world they'd been sent to, Riri was well-aware they didn't belong.

Though she wasn't able to convince them where they were from at first, she was able to reunite the Champions after they'd been separated from one another. When they were forced to battle against one of their old foes, Viv Vision merged with Ironheart, and their combined power was able to restore the Champions memories so they could return home.

Shuri awarding Riri with the Circlet of Bast

Riri's time in Wakanda was about more than saving the planet. While there, she attained the respect of Shuri, one of their top scientists and a former Black Panther. And her work fighting for both Shuri and Wakanda resulted in her attaining the Circlet of Bast.

Considered the highest honor in Wakanda, Shuri embraced her new friend with this achievement. She also informed Riri that she would always be welcome within the halls of Wakanda. Not only did this help Riri connect with the people of Wakanda, but she gained one of her best allies on this mission.
