Fans of the Iron Man movies and comics can now mimic Tony Stark's billionaire playboy sense of style with a newly released fashion statement.

The eyeglasses manufacturer GUNNAR recently added the Stark Industries Edition shades to its stock. The company develops sunglasses, blue-light glasses and prescription glasses with its patented lens technology. The accessory is available for those who want to use them for protection outside or at the computer, and any pair can be made with a buyer's prescription in mind. With a stainless steel frame and low bridge fit, it visually replicates Tony's eye tech but also comes with a branded Stark Industries glasses case and pouch.

In Spider-Man: Far From Home, these glasses are a gift to Peter Parker as he's struggling under the weight of Tony Stark's legacy as Iron Man. The seemingly innocent accessories actually contain an artificial intelligence named Edith, which is an acronym for "Even dead I'm the hero." With Edith, Parker is able to instantly access any information he wishes at a glance. This includes access to Stark technology that could be incredibly destructive in the wrong hands.

Though Tony and actor Robert Downey Jr. are no longer directly involved with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his Iron Man technology continues to make a huge impact globally. In the upcoming film Armor Wars, Don Cheadle returns as War Machine to confront Tony's legacy and what his part is in all of it. The Marvel series was upgraded to a film after the project outgrew its budget. "Our Disney+ shows are awesome, and we love them, but the budgets are not the same as the features, that's no secret," Marvel executive Nate Moore said.

In both the MCU and the comics, Iron Man started life as the son of the wealthy Howard and Maria Stark. His father's industrial company, Stark Industries, would fall to Tony after the untimely death of his parents. Selfish, arrogant and uncaring about the consequences that his company's tech created, he was left permanently wounded after being ambushed and kidnapped by a terrorist organization. He and another captive, Ho Yinsen, managed to build the very first Iron Man armor together using the limited materials at their disposal. Tony escaped but at the cost of Yinsen's life. Emboldened by a new mission, he would go on to create increasingly powerful armored suits to combat foes on Earth and beyond.
