The following contains spoilers for Hulk #7, on sale May 25 from Marvel Comics.

Starship Hulk is facing off against Iron Man's massive armor upgrade in the upcoming Hulk #7.

Hulk #7 comes from writer Donny Cates, artist Martin Coccolo, color artist Matt Wilson and letterer VC's Cory Petit. In the preview provided by Marvel, Iron Man has arrived on the scene of Hulk and Thor's giant battle with new, Celestial-looking Hulkbuster armor. Tony Stark strikes the first punch as he quickly begins firing ammo into Starship Hulk, which then results in massive chaos that Thor watches from above. "The roaring of muscle and sinew," Thor's inner monologue reads as he watches the battle. "Burning and growing, yet still under the heat of a cosmic maelstrom...which unleashes the infinite ocean of pain that humankind cannot perceive...upon a creature that knows not why it must suffer."

Iron Man's Celestial Hulkbuster armor appeared at the end of Thor #25 after he told the Avengers he was going to help defeat Hulk. Thor #25 also revealed the reason Iron Man and Thor are after Hulk is because Bruce Banner was taken over by some unknown force and killed 17 people in El Paso following the events of Immortal Hulk.

The synopsis for Hulk #7 reads, "In the third installment of the epic crossover between the HULK and THOR series, Iron Man interrupts a pivotal moment of Hulk and Thor's battle to settle a score. Equipped with new "Celestial Hulkbuster" armor of his own design, Tony is convinced that he can ensure Thor's victory and Hulk's capture. But sometimes what you don't know really can hurt you…"

Hulk #7 falls into Marvel's Banner of War crossover event, which began in May with Hulk vs. Thor: Banner of War Alpha #1. Following Hulk #7, the event will proceed with June 8's Thor #26 before concluding in July 20's Hulk #8. “Well, I was a little surprised that Marvel approached me to write this, if I’m being honest," Cates previously said of the event. "I’m mostly known for writing very small, very quiet, intimate comics, so I had to — ha!! Sorry. Couldn’t keep that up. Yeah, this is gonna be bonkers as hell, guys,” Cates said. “We’re going to break EVERYTHING! Happy birthday, Hulk and Thor! Hope you enjoy MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF VIOLENCE!”

Hulk #7 features cover art by Gary Frank and Brad Anderson and variant cover art by J. Scott Campbell, Sabine Rich, Logan Lubera, Rachelle Rosenberg, Geoff Shaw, Federico Blee, Junggeun Yoon and Chrissie Zullo. The issue releases May 25 from Marvel.
