Tony Stark has received a cosmic upgrade that allows him to use entire planets as impromptu weapons for a galactic battle between Iron Man and Korvac to determine the fate of all sentient life in the Marvel Universe.

A preview for Iron Man #15 features Tony using his newfound connection to the Power Cosmic to grow into a Galactus-sized hero to battle Korvac, who has grown to similar heights. As an entire solar system becomes a warzone, with planets as collateral damage, Iron Man uses his newfound godhood to knock around Korvac while admonishing his plans to subjugate all sentient life to his will. The issue is written by Christopher Cantwell, illustrated by Ibraim Roberson, colored by Frank D'Armata and lettered by VC's Joe Caramagna, with cover art by Alex Ross.

Ever since Cantwell took the reins on the Iron Man series in September 2020, he has steadily built to a showdown with Korvac. Having returned after being defeated by the Avengers, Korvac has plotted to gain the Power Cosmic to link humanity under a collective hive mind. Determined to keep this immense power from Korvac's grasp, Iron Man bonded with the Power Cosmic himself to become a god. While Tony is poised to finally defeat Korvac, the sudden upgrade could cost Iron Man his very soul.

Written by Christopher Cantwell, illustrated by Ibraim Roberson, colored by Frank D'Armata and lettered by VC's Joe Caramagna, Iron Man #15 goes on sale Dec. 22 from Marvel Comics.
