IRON MAN 3 As we reported yesterday here at CBR, director Jon Favreau has walked away from the "Iron Man" series. After word broke out, Favreau confirmed on his Twitter account that, indeed, he was opting out, instead directing Disney's "Magic Kingdom." While he discusses his interest in that project with The Los Angeles Times -- and mentioned he'll be staying on as a producer of "The Avengers" -- Ed Gross at Comic Book Movie hears a different story on Favreau's departure. "Robert Downey Jr. and the director, Jon Favreau, their friendship broke up over that whole mess of the second movie. Did you notice they didn't do press together?" says there source, who must've missed the press conference for the film I was at where the two seemed quite chummy. "Because the movie sucked, and I think Robert Downey, Jr. blamed Jon Favreau. That's why Downey dropped out of 'Cowboys and Aliens', because he didn't want to work with Jon Favreau again. Also, by the way, it's why Jon Favreau dropped out of 'The Avengers.' I thought the odds of him directing Iron Man 3 were slim, and that proved right," continues that source, a supposedly "prolific" member of the Hollywood community. Other rumors suggest Favreau and Marvel could not agree to a favorable contract. Hollywood is sometimes wiley like this. It could be money, burn-out, and more interesting project, or bad blood. This is the sort of thing that can occur when emotions and hundred million dollar films collide.

Release Date: May 3rd, 2013THE DARK KNIGHT RISESHas the script leaked? The Daily Blam! points to a thread on the Superhero Hype message boards where one poster claims to have read the script. While I won't re-post specific, just in case it's legit, but all of the information sounds like a combination of previously heard rumors including villains and female characters. He doesn't mention an overall plot as such, just how characters tie to the first two films. To me, it seems like wishful thinking. Only a takedown notice from the studio would prove any sort of legitimacy. Meanwhile, the LA Times Hero Complex Twitter page let it be known that director Christopher Nolan was out scouting locations in Asia for the film as his nominations for "Inception" were announced.

I watch the show all the time and it just seemed cool to see if the stuff in our movie was possible in any way, shape or form," says the actor via a press release. The episode will air tonight at 9pm ET/PT on the Discovery Channel.

Staring Seth Rogen, release date: January 14th, 2011THOR Star Chris Hemsworth talks the film with Marvel.com. "He has to be that warrior and he still has to have those elements," he says of the character's hubris. "That's what makes him Thor. But also, you don't want to watch a guy for too long on screen who's just a jerk all the time. You get moments of it, where it's kind of cool and bad, but then it just gets old. You've got to find that balance, and at the right times, sneak a bit of it back in."
