Tomorrow, comic and movie fans will get their first full trailer for Marvel Studios incoming "Iron Man 3" - director Shane Black's exploration of Tony Stark in a post-Avengers Marvel Film Universe.

But before the armored avenger storms screens, the studio today is releasing a number of new images from the film including a teaser poster highlighting Iron Man armors new and old and some screen grab galleries of the cast -including Sir Ben Kingsley's The Mandarin.

The close-up of the ring-wielding villain's face comes via Entertainment Weekly who also spoke with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige about the film conception of The Mandarin not as a Chinese mystic but as the technological head of the terrorist organization The Ten Rings, which has been in power through all the Iron Man films.

"A lot of this movie is about characters going back into the shadows for various reasons and characters who have been in the shadows coming out and into the light for the first time," Feige said. "It is Tony who, for various reasons, finds himself receding into the darkness. I don't mean emotional darkness, I mean literally ducking out of the spotlight. And we'll see other characters stepping up who have pulled strings from the background, starting to show their hand."

Meanwhile, USA Today has their own gallery of images from the movie and more from Feige who explained. "The goal with Iron Man 3 is to again prove that all of our single heroes are as interesting alone as they are when they're all together in an Avengers movie...In this movie, we are again going to see [Tony] stripped down more than we've ever seen him since he was in that cave, again with his back against the wall and with nothing but his wits to help him survive."
