Iron Man 3 is changing continents. As filming moves from the United States to China, Deadline reports the sequel is gaining a new actor: Xueqi Wang, whose career reaches back to 1985. He's appeared in about 30 movies, including Caught in the Web, China's entry this year for the Best Foreign Language Academy Award.

Wang is set to play Dr. Wu, a character whose very nature is being kept under wraps. For a while, there was talk that eventual Radioactive Man Dr. Chen Lu would appear, but whether that's still the case or if the two are related in any way remains to be seen.

Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Directed by Shane Black from a script he co-wrote with Drew Pearce, Iron Man 3 stars returning cast members Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Jon Favreau, joined by Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall, James Badge Dale and Ashley Hamilton. It opens May 3, 2013.
