Following yesterday's pixelated images, Entertainment Weekly posts high quality pictures of this week's cover and Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow. Accompanying the photos is a story about the film. ASTRO BOY
Both MTV Splashpage and Sci Fi Wire had the opportunity to preview footage from the upcoming animated film. Sci Fi Wire goes into greater detail, describing three clips. One clips features the birth of Astro Boy. "Hoses snake down from the ceiling, attach to the boy, haul him up, suspend him in midair. Blue lightning zaps all around, the robot falls, smashes equipment, lies inert," they describe.

WATCHMEN: THE DIRECTOR'S CUT
Sci Fi Wire has a review of the Director's Cut Blu-Ray edition. "Like, say, Stanley Kubrick, a director who aimed to subject his audience to an experience rather than manipulate their emotions, Snyder uses all of the devices of a conventional story to tell one that subverts virtually all of its conventions," they say of the expanded film.On DVD/Blu-Ray: July 28th, 2009
