Iron Man 2, Cowboys and Aliens, Transformers 2: April 10th Comic Reel

IRON MAN 2

Is Jim Rhodes future in doubt?  Comic Book Movie has words from Don Cheadle himself.  When asked about spinning off the character, Cheadle said, "Actually, I hope to retire. I'm only half-joking. It would be great to have a character that you could take off with. If it was Rhodey that would be interesting but I have young children. If it meant spending months and months away from home, it's not worth that. You've caught me at a very ambivalent moment. I'm gonna be a good soldier, I know that!"

Meanwhile, director Jon Favreau has wrapped the first week of shooting.

Starring Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow, release date: May 7, 2010.

SPIDER-MAN 5

Director Sam Raimi told Ain't It Cool News that he's only looking ahead to one sequel, not more. "No one's talked to me about making part 5 at this moment. Right now I'm hoping to make part 4," Raimi said.  "It's a never-ending process. Basically we are talking about the story right now, shortly artists will come on and I'll start giving them shots to draw. We are supposed to start talking to a production designer soon, so it will just keep getting larger and larger."

"We have turned in a draft and are waiting to hear back, so it's early in the process. But it's a thrill to be writing 'Venom' for obvious reasons."

No release date announced.

GREEN HORNET

Ain't It Cool News also talked to actor/director Seth Rogen, who said, "There's a very real possibility that [Stephen Chow] will end up being Kato and there's a slight possibility it won't work out," Rogen said, "but honestly we just aren't 100% sure right now, because he does his thing ... he's the king of the world in Hong Kong, he doesn't need us!"
