Typhoid Mary has arrived. In a new post on the show's Instagram, Netflix's Iron Fist unveiled a first look at the character, who is slated to make her debut next month in Season 2. The photos appear to show two sides of Alice Eve's Mary Walker: a demure woman wearing a cardigan and a bloodthirsty villain wielding a sword.

"You never really know someone until you see both sides," the post's caption teased.

The second photo comes from a scene showed at last month's Comic-Con International in San Diego. In the clip, Colleen Wing and Misty Knight paid a visit to Joy Meachum at her apartment. Though Joy swore she was alone, Misty knew better and shouldered her way into the room. Moments later, Mary emerged wielding a sword, resulting in a skirmish.

Introduced in 1988 by Ann Nocenti and John Romita Jr. in Marvel’s Daredevil #254, Typhoid Mary is an enemy and former lover of Matt Murdock who possesses low-level psionic powers — pyrokinesis, telekinesis, limited mind control — as well as finely honed athletic and martial-arts abilities. An assassin who suffers from dissociative identity disorder, Mary Walker manifests three additional personalities: the quiet and timid “Mary,” the lustful and violent “Typhoid” and the sadistic “Bloody Mary.”

Arriving Sept. 7 on Netflix, Marvel’s Iron Fist Season 2 stars Finn Jones as Danny Rand, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Sacha Dhawan as Davos, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, Simone Missick Misty Knight and introduces Alice Eve as Mary Walker.
