In a series of tweets promoting the upcoming second season of Marvel's Iron Fist, the drama's Twitter account has revealed a few episode titles. One of them, or rather the image it includes, seems to indicate Danny Rand will face enemies from his classic comics: the Golden Tiger Gang. The image shows the storefront of a traditional Eastern medicine shop at night, with its neon sign that reads, "The City's Not For Burning" between the gold, illuminated faces of two tigers. "Strong medicine," is the only text accompanying the image. Fans of the comics were quick to make the connection to the gang led by the villain Chaka Khan. Like Danny himself, members of the Golden Tiger Gang were martial arts experts, but they used their power for intimidation and crime.

Previous announcements about the second season revealed that Danny will be filling the shoes of his new ally Daredevil, now believed to be dead following the events of last year's The Defenders, so these new street-level foes should be a good opportunity for him to take on the mantle of the primary protector of Hell's Kitchen.

Another tweet provided a photo of a different storefront, this one featuring the words, "This Deadly Secret," with the accompanying text, "Just a quick stop." Next came one more title as a store's name: "Target: Iron Fist." The comment on the tweet appeared to be Danny's response to the challenge: "Ready when you are." In the show's first season, each episode was named with a phrase that evoked a martial arts move, but it appears that the writers have moved on from this convention for the next batch of titles.

Each of Marvel's shows housed on Netflix has a Twitter feed that is often used creatively to promote the series and characters, and to interact with tweets from the other series. Releasing episode titles through a creative, thematic format in advance of a new season may become a tradition: for example, The Punisher let fans interpret each title through Morse code.

Arriving Sept. 7 on Netflix, Marvel’s Iron Fist Season 2 stars Finn Jones as Danny Rand, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Sacha Dhawan as Davos, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, Simone Missick Misty Knight and introduces Alice Eve as Mary Walker.
