Netflix's latest Marvel Comics-based superhero series "Iron Fist" might have only just been released, but already talk is turning to the subject of whether or not its first season will get a sequel.

Of course, viewers know that lead actor Finn Jones will be reprising his role as Danny Rand in the upcoming Netflix team series "The Defenders," but Sacha Dhawan, who plays Davos, Danny's fellow disciple from his days at the K'un-Lun temple, has revealed in a recent interview with British TV listings magazine Radio Times, that it is still apparently "fingers crossed" that the show will get a second season.

The actor, who is perhaps best known for his roles in "Sherlock" and the "Doctor Who"-themed docudrama "An Adventure in Space and Time," also confirmed that he would not be appearing in "The Defenders" himself, saying, “The crux of Danny and Davos’ story I think really begins towards the end of [Iron Fist] season 1, and I think they didn’t want to start it straight away into 'The Defenders,' and wanted to save it for series 2."

In the comics, Davos is bitterly jealous of Danny's role as Iron Fist and adopts on the name 'The Steel Serpent' as he attempts to steal Danny's power for himself, but the Netflix version of the character seems more disappointed in Danny's failure to live up to his duties as Iron Fist.
