If you're in New York City and you see signs for the filming of a production called "Kick," you've stumbled across a location where Marvel Television is filming the upcoming Netflix series, "Iron Fist." The working title for the show, along with the first character descriptions, have arrived online following the announcement of Scott Buck as showrunner, and release of the official logline.

REPORT: Marvel Was Considering Asian-American Iron Fist

Iron Fist focuses on Daniel Rand and his return to New York City after being missing for four years. The series follows Rand as he fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the power of the fiery Iron Fist.

Due to it being early in production, the descriptions, discovered by Den of Geek, use codenames rather than actual character names.

DYLAN KENDALL

25 - 28 yrs old Handsome and sophisticated, independent and a loner.

HARRY MARSHALL

While the first is most likely Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist himself, the second name is much less obvious. Den of Geek narrowed the options down to several characters from Rand's comic book history, but using Marvel's own film and television history, Orson Randall would appear to be the most likely guess. Randall, introduced in Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction, David Aja and Travel Foreman's "Immortal Iron Fist" series in 2006, was a previous wielder of the iron fist power, and would offer the show a perfect entry point into the world of K'un L'un, the mysterious realm where Rand discovers his powers and destiny.

No timeline for "Iron Fist" has been announced, as "Jessica Jones" only recently debuted on Netflix, while "Luke Cage" is now in production. With 'Daredevil's" second season already filming, "Iron Fist" likely won't premiere until 2017.
