Danny Rand takes on his one-time friend turned rival Davos, aka Steel Serpent, in a new full-length trailer for Marvel's Iron Fist Season 2 that gives fans a look at the hero's multiple masks.

The new footage helps to set up the status quo in the second season of the Netflix drama, with Danny attempting to "keep the peace" in New York City following the downfall of the Hand, and purported death of Daredevil, in The Defenders. But it also follows through with what was set up in the third act of Iron Fist Season 1, with Danny (Finn Jones) and his childhood friend Davos (Sacha Dhawan) finally in direct conflict with one another.

The trailer certainly suggests the second season will address one of the criticisms of the first, and use flashbacks to K’un-Lun to more fully explore Danny's backstory, his complicated relationship with his adoptive brother and, just possibly, what happened to the mystical city, which disappeared in the Season 1 finale. The footage also depicts Danny and Davos fighting, in flashback, while wearing the signature Iron Fist mask, and introduces a mummified body in that familiar attire, signaling that the story may well delve into the legacy aspect of the title and role.
