While little to nothing is known about the upcoming season of Netflix's Iron Fist, it's never too early to get excited for another high-stakes adventure of martial arts and mysticism.
Earlier today, Marvel's Chief Creative Officer and renowned artist Joe Quesada teased the third season of Daredevil with a tantalizing piece of original artwork, but he wouldn't stop there. Next, Quesada proceeded to give fans a little taste of Iron Fist season 2 with a vibrant new illustration.
Shared on his Twitter account, Quesada's artwork features a shirtless Danny Rand going through the motions of an elegant move, the energy from his mystical glowing hand leaving a trail that forms the shape of a "2."
Although many fans were left disappointed by the first season of Iron Fist, the titular character went though a bit of a course-correction in the team-up series The Defenders. The first season ended with Danny donning a proto-Iron First costume of sorts, ready to keep the residents of New York City safe. Now, with a new showrunner and a leading man who went through extensive fight training, fans have every reason to be excited for season 2 of Iron Fist.
