Earlier in the year, the long-awaited Invader Zim revival movie, Invader Zim: Enter the Forpus, was announced to premiere on Netflix along with Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling. Now, a teaser has been released that shows fans what exactly awaits them, as well as when they can expect it.

The teaser begins with a title card that reads "Meanwhile in a toilet..." before the sound of a devious chuckle is heard. Viewers then see Zim sitting on a toilet, chuckling.

As the camera zooms away, Zim's chuckle evolves into a genuinely evil laugh, while a banner that reads "Official Hiding Room" hangs over the toilet. Also present are Zim's robot sidekick, GIR, and Minimoose.

As the teaser comes to a close with Zim and GIR laughing and Zim's computer refusing to join him in doing so, the movie's title card appears, along with the announcement that the film will arrive August 16.

Outside of a clip released last year at Comic-Con International: San Diego, not much has been revealed about the movie, but as the teaser shows, Enter the Florpus will retain the original cartoon's unique style of humor, while also showing that, even after all these years, Zim is still the incompetent goofball fans know and love.

Directed by Jhonen Vasquez and Jake Wyatt, Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus stars Richard Horvitz, Rikki Simons, Andy Berman, Melissa Fahn, Wally Wingert, Kevin McDonald, Rodger Bumpass and Olivia d'Abo. The movie will release on Netflix on August 16.
